Yellow Canary, Australia

Yellow Canary is a leading workforce compliance automation platform that helps employers manage their compliance obligations efficiently and at scale. Originally designed for internal use, the platform has since expanded to support external users, creating a need to improve its usability and accessibility.

Over a 2.5-month research project, we conducted user research and analysis to identify key pain points and opportunities for improvement. Our findings informed four key areas of focus and 17 actionable design solutions aimed at creating a more intuitive, accessible and seamless user experience.
