Website UX and Design
Yellow Canary, Australia
As Yellow Canary has continued to grow, the website presented an opportunity to better reflect the business’s evolving brand, capabilities and strategic direction. I led a comprehensive website review and redesign project, bringing together brand strategy, user experience, content architecture and technical considerations to establish a stronger digital foundation for the business.
The project began with a deep dive into the existing website, business objectives and audience needs. Through research and evaluation, I explored how the site could better communicate Yellow Canary’s value proposition, improve navigation and create a more intuitive experience for prospective clients. This informed a review of the content structure, user journeys and information hierarchy, ensuring the website was designed around both user needs and broader business goals.
I also investigated development approaches, content management systems (CMS) and implementation options to identify a solution that balanced functionality, flexibility, scalability and long-term maintainability. Brand consistency was a key consideration throughout, with the opportunity to strengthen the relationship between Yellow Canary’s visual identity, messaging and digital experience.
User research and testing helped inform the direction, validate design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement. The result was a considered, strategic approach to the website redesign — one that connected business objectives with user needs while creating a platform capable of evolving alongside the company.
The project brought together the many layers of digital design, from discovery and strategy through to content, brand, UX and technical planning, establishing a clear direction for Yellow Canary’s next stage of digital growth.
